This is an album of love and hope. It falls somewhere between Margaret Whiting (look it up, kids,) and soft Broadway ballads. Leonard has a pretty voice that is soothing and warm. Her song interpretations are well-performed and sincere, never stiff or stilted. It's obvious that Leonard loves this music and loves singing. She does it well; very well.
